Open-Mic Program at "Two Steps Down" on the 2nd Sunday of each month

Starting Sunday, Dec. 13, Steve will sing and host an Open-Mic Program at "Two Steps Down" on the 2nd Sunday of each month, per the schedule that follows. Each month there will also be a major guest artist, either a vocalist or instrumentalist. The venue is located @240 DeKalb Ave, near Vanderbilt Ave, 10 min. from B'klyn Br. $5 music charge 1 drk. min.

So, come out after the holiday...November 27th

On November 27th (day after Thanksgiving), Steve will take the stage with his trio at Jazz966, the home of jazz in Brooklyn. It will be a swinging session because there is plenty of dancing at this venue. "So, come out after the holiday and let's celebrate life." Located at 966 Fulton St., corner of Grand Ave., just 10 minutes from Brooklyn Bridge. Two set: 8 PM and 9:30 PM. Music charge: $15, dinner included.

Open-Mic Jazz Jam, November 8th

Steve will host an Open-Mic Jazz Jam session for vocalist and instrumentalist starting Sun. November 8th at "Two Steps Down" the respected Brooklyn restaurant and bar celebrating its 40th anniversary. Located at: 240 DeKalb Ave @ Vanderbilt Ave.
Time: 5 PM to 9 PM

$5.00 music charge, 1 drink min.

240 Dekalb Ave., in Fort Green Brooklyn. 2 sets: 7:30 PM and 9:00 PM. It's a vintage Brooklyn restaurant with excellent food and drinks. Easy transportation: you can walk from the Nevins St (and Flatbush) Station.

"Side Walk Cafe" style Luncheon Program

On June13, 2009, Steve and his trio (same musicians as above) will be the featured guest at the Women's Organization of his church, First Baptist Church of Crown Heights, in a "Side Walk Cafe" style Luncheon Program. Location is 450 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn, corner of Rogers Ave. Just minutes from the Brooklyn Bridge. Admission is $20. Luncheon starts at 1:30 PM.

New Singing engagement at the Victorian Mansion

Come and join Steve on April 11, 2009 at The beautiful Victorian Mansion at
247 Hancock St. in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn (corner of Macy Ave), for a evening of music, songs, and good company in a venue that is uniquely prepared to host a classy affair. Time is 7-10 PM, and there is a $20 music charge. Light meal is included and drinks will be available for purchase.

His trio will feature Lafayette Harris on piano, Paul Beaudry on Bass, and Emanuel Harrold on drums.

From Manhattan: take Atlantic Ave. to New York Ave. to Macy Ave and Hancock St (total of about 10 blocks from Atlantic Ave.)
