Two up coming events, November 13th and 16th

Steve's monthly performance and music program at "TWO STEPS DOWN" in Brooklyn will continue on Sunday, Nov. 13.  As his special guest, the dynamic vocalist, Arlee Leonard will perform, followed by an OPEN-MIC session.
 
On Nov. 16, Steve will serve as Master of Ceremony for:
CENTRAL BROOKLYN JAZZ CONSORTIUM'S 12th Anniversary Celebration at SUGAR HILL SUPPER CLUB, 609 DeKalb Ave @ Vanderbilt Ave. Doors open at 5 PM, and the affair go end at 9 PM (a light buffet 6 PM - 7 PM).  Tickets: $25.
 

Steve will perform at "Jazz 966" on Oct. 7@8PM

His special guests are two swinging ladies of jazz: Ms. Cynthia Holiday and Ms. Carolyn Harding to spice things up and celebrate his birthday. Located @ 966 Fulton St and Grand Ave. Cover:$15, food available for purchase.

Steve will perform at his monthly gig (every second Sunday) at "Two Steps Down" on Oct. 9 @ 6 PM - 9PM. With Special guest and an Open-mic. $10 music charge.

Ten years after surviving 9/11, two jazz singers bring their experience to life on a Fort Greene stage

Though they shared a bond forged during the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, Fort Greene resident Steve Cromity and Dennis Day didn't actually meet until six years later—and then only by chance at a New York vocal competition.

But last night at Two Steps Down in Fort Greene, the two musicians were once again reunited to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on Sunday.

"Two Steps Down" for a 2nd year on Sunday, 9/11

Steve will return to "Two Steps Down" for a 2nd year on Sunday, 9/11. That date would otherwise not be appropriate but since Steve was in the WTC when the incident occurred, he knows how special it is to be alive and to celebrate life.

• May 21, 2011 - The Brownstone: Sankofa Bed and Breakfast, 107 Macon St., B'klyn NY (Betw. Marcy & Nostrand Ave's) $15 cover, food and drinks available. The venue is a beautifully resorted 1880's Bed-Stuy brownstone.

• May 30, 2011 - "My Sweet" 1103 Fulton St. @ Clever Place, B'klyn NY. $10 cover, food and drinks available. This is a creatively designed new club and the new spot to hang on Monday nights.

• June 20, 2011 - Singers Space @ the Thalia Cage, 2537 B'way @ 95th St. NYC. No cover. Food and drinks are available. This manhattan venue is where singers gather and show their stuff. After my special appearance, the remaining evening is Open-mic.
